Global strategic marketing targeted at consumer electronics and appliances industries for polycarbonate-based applications such as electronics bezels, frames, housing, enclosures, diffusor plates, flash lenses and light guides. Main responsibilities include industry networking, market insights and customer needs analysis, guidance to market driven innovation, and products launches.
• Led a global team of 8 industrial marketers in charge of strategic and operational marketing for polycarbonate applications in IT & Appliances industries (~300 Mio. EUR business).
• Defined global IT&A industry strategy, industry positioning and innovation direction including key brand messaging (we provide the "body & skin" of the Internet-of-Things)
• Initiated cross-functional collaboration (sales, product development, innovation, marketing) for marketing plans implementation at country cluster level (NAFTA, EMEA, Greater China, India, Korea, Japan)
• Supervised IT&A innovation portfolio (stage-gate process) and product launches (2015 smartphone housing product portfolio) and contributes to internal innovation programs (business model innovation workshops, circular economy).
• Oversaw insight & foresight and front-end innovation collaborations with strategic partners, OEMs, and component makers (2025 mobile devices and stationary devices concepts).
• Kicked-off APAC designers communities networking and co-creation activities (Successful Design Awards, Sustainability Jam, Innovation Jams).
• Appointed APAC Sustainability evangelist and coordinator in charge of regional activities consolidation, roll-out of global programs (LCA), and external stakeholders relations.
